The EXHL-SFC-LE5-CRN-RED-1224 from Larson Electronics is an Explosion Proof Red Crane Warning Laser that can be used to support safety during crane operations and to warn people in the area about the presence of an operating crane. The EXHL-SFC-LE5-CRN-RED-1224 is Class I, Divisions 1 & 2, Groups B, C, D, Class I, Zones 1 & 2, Groups IIB+H2, IIA, Class II, Divisions 1 & 2, Groups E, F ,G and Class III Divisions 1 & 2 rated for hazardous areas and is listed for use worldwide including the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia. This explosion proof 5mW laser operates on 12-24V DC and features a sturdy aluminum build.

The EXHL-SFC-LE5-CRN-RED-1224 incorporates a red laser that can be seen clearly during busy crane operations. This powerful laser pointer is equipped with a special optic in front that allows it to project a 45° angle line of light instead of just a single dot. It is surface mounted on the arm of a crane and projects the beam onto the floor of the work location or area where the crane is operating.

A small profile, low 12-24V DC power requirements, high durability and versatile surface mounting makes these crane warning lasers ideal for industrial manufacturing applications and anywhere requiring overhead crane safety lights. Similar to forklift safety lights, this product will add an additional level of safety to the industrial environment by warning pedestrians of a crane`s movement when sound warnings may not be enough.

Durability: The EXHL-SFC-LE5-CRN-RED-1224 explosion proof red laser from Larson Electronics is rated NEMA Type 3, 4, 4X, 7 (B,C,D) and 9 (E,F,G) and designed to withstand the rigors of demanding environmental and operating conditions while remaining lightweight and easy to use. These units can operate in temperatures of -40° Celsius to 50° Celsius, are waterproof to 3 meter and resist ingress of dust, dirt and humidity. The housings are formed from extruded aluminum and the lenses are unbreakable polycarbonate.

Mounting: This explosion proof laser features a surface mount bracket for easy and convenient mounting.

Wiring: Terminal strips inside the unit allow operators to make electrical connections. Wiring is fed through rigid pipe to the 3/4" NPT hubs on either side of the fixture and tied in to the fixture’s terminal strips, completing the electrical connection.
