The Larson Electronics EPL-24-4L-LED is NRTL Listed for United States and Canada Class 1 Division 1 - Class II Division 1 and 2, has a T6 temperature rating and is an ideal lighting solution for areas where flammable petrochemical vapors and/or pulverized dust exist or have the potential to exist.

***PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO THIS HAZARDOUS LOCATION LIGHT FIXTURE***

This 2 foot long 4 LED tube fixture is ideal for operators seeking a top quality explosion proof light that will reduce operating costs, improve lighting quality and reduce downtime incurred from frequent servicing intervals.

The EPL-24-4L-LED is equipped with Larson Electronics’s specially designed LED T-series bulbs which produce nearly 15% more light than standard T8 bulbs. Our new LED-T series bulbs are visibly brighter than standard T8s and have consistently surprised many of our customers with their unexpectedly high light output levels. This 4 LED bulb explosion proof fixture is lighter in weight, has a slimmer profile, and produces more light than traditional explosion proof fluorescent fixtures. The 2 foot long LED tube design bulbs included with this unit are rated at 50,000 hours of service life, which is twice as long as T8 bulbs.

This fixture carries a T6 temperature rating and is Class 1 Division 1, Groups C and D, Class 1 Division 2, Group A,B,C and D, and Class II, Division 1 and 2, Groups E, F and G.

We have eliminated the ballast box normally associated with fluorescent fixtures which reduces overall weight, creates a slimmer unit profile, and helps this fixture maintain a T-6 temperature rating. There is no ballast in this unit and the included Larson Electronics LED T-series lamps have a 50,000 hour service life, both of which result in extreme efficiency and greatly reduced maintenance costs. Maintenance is further simplified with interchangeable screw on end caps and O ring seals which allows all relamping to be done from one end of the fixture. The LED bulbs used in this fixture are our new second generation LED T series 15W watt lamps which produce 15% more light than standard T8 bulbs.

The solid state design of the LED lamps and integral spring loaded end sockets give this fixture superior resistance to damage from vibrations and extremes in temperature as well as a lamp service life over twice that of T8 bulbs. Our LED-T series lamps produce more illumination than standard T8 bulbs. This fixture is multi-voltage capable (not multi-tap) and works on the following voltages: 120 Volt 60 HZ, 220 Volt 50 HZ, 240 Volt 60 HZ, 277 Volts 60 HZ. We also make a 12-24V DC version for low voltage applications (-LV suffix). Our EPL-48-4L-LED LED light fixture is NRTL Listed for United States and Canada for use in paint spray booths.

Mounting: Standard end mounting via Unistruts. The Unistrut is attached to our standard L-bracket mounts. These L-bracket mounts can be adjusted to create angle mounts. As illustrated in the photos above, the series of mounting holes at the top of the bracket enable this explosion proof LED light to be attached to any wall, ceiling or floor surface. A simple through bolt can be used to secure the light to the surface. A single junction box at one end of the light is provided for the electrical connection.

Suggested Applications: Paint spray booths, Aircraft maintenance, Oil drilling rigs, Refineries, Solvent and cleaning areas, Gas processing plants, Chemical manufacturing, Waste treatment plants, Gas processing plants.
