The Larson Electronics EPL-AEB-8.12.6 explosion proof enclosure provides operators with a Class 1 and 2, Division 1 and 2 cast aluminum enclosure designed to hold electrical equipment up to 8" by 12" by 6" in size. This explosion proof enclosure is ideal for indoor or outdoor applications where flammable vapors, gases, or dusts exist or stand the potential to exist.

The EPL-AEB-8.12.6 explosion proof enclosure is made of cast aluminum, is equipped with stainless steel hinge and bolts, and includes a watertight gasket for a NEMA 4X protection rating. The internal cavity of this flameproof enclosure measures 8" in length by 12" in width by 6" in height. A removable backplate for easy mounting of equipment outside of the enclosure can be provided at an additional cost.
