The original Model was made by onebitpixel and prints very well. But I wanted something to keep the floors in place because they moved very easily, so I simply made a small rectangle to glue to bottom of the upper floors and some of the roofs that will brace them and hold them in place. They are very easy to add. I take the brace and put a few drops of super glue on them and put it on as correctly as I can. I then take a lower floor put it on top of the upside down upper floor with the brace move the floor to align with other, then remove the lower floor and allow to dry.
The small brace will work on the euro_house_01_roof_No_dormar_v2 & euro_house_01_roof_smooth roofs as well. The other small roof with the Dormer windows I made some pegs to glue in to two corners of the roof to hold them in place. As I figure out my 3D soft I am remix the roof so it allows the brace to work with it. Also I like the print the Dormer about 3-5% bigger so it has a little over hang.
The original euro_house_01_roof_No_dormar_v2 has some problems with the mesh so I ran it through a program to “fix” it and made the bottom thicker to allow brace to work with it.
Using the Original small brick house as a template I create a small smooth wall house with a 1st and 2nd floor. I remixed the brick house roof so the sides were smooth to match.
I also created some expansions to the houses to all for “add-ons” to help me each house look different. I designed these to work on the small houses but they should work just fine on the large house 02. I may crate windows for some of the expansion but I will do that at a later date.
The expansions are 78, 60, and 40mm in withed. This will allow them to “attach” the side of house to look like an add-on. I may do a 2 story expansion but I am not sure that.
They have printed fine with no supports.
I realized the smooth roof as not thick enough for the brace. I Added some padding to inside to fix it. Use file euro_house_01_roof_smooth_v2 if you want to use smooth roof with a brace
euro_house_01_roof_Dormar_v3 will work with brace now.
