UPDATE 03/22/2021: Uploaded two new files (New Spool Labeled Drawer Left and Right) to work with the new spools. These don't require any drilling and uses the existing holes in the spool. They open back to back.
UPDATE 12/26/2020: I have uploaded 3 new files to deal with the new eSun spools. One is a drilling guide for the new clear spools. The inner hub was changed and the original guide was too loose. The other two files are new drawers for the black spool. They have two holes that can be used for the hinges. Each pair of drawers are back to back so there is a new left and right drawer design. Everything else can be used with the new spools.
I was noticing the peg holes on one of my printers printed a bit too small for the peg to fit in. I drilled them out with a 3.5mm drill bit and they fit fine after that.
UPDATE 12/14/2020: It seems that eSun has changed their spools so it might not be possible to use this anymore. :(
Expandable eSun spool drawer system. Like several other upcycling spool drawer projects, this one is for eSun spools.
While this is not a direct remix of any of the listed project, I wanted to include them as the inspiration for several of the design aspects of this project. There is one piece, Bearing_wheel.stl, that is a direct copy of the Universal Stand-Alone Filament Spool Holder. It was the inspiration for the turn-table it uses and I didn't want to reinvent the wheel so to speak.
There are two drawer designs. One with a place to place a label and another without the label holder. If you are only using one spool, the you do not need the extension or link file.
