Housing for low power MQTT wifi contact based on Arduino Mini Pro and ESP8266.
Bit ugly again, but easy to print.
Both processor boards, reed-contact, step-up-converter and two AAA are fitting in the housing.
With white PLA the flashing status LED of Mini and ESP can be seen through the housing.
The software/electronic part took me muuuuch longer then expected.
But now it runs on some µA in standby.
Dropped the easy Code for Arduino, too. ESP is running via EasyESP. (Contact and Batt-Status).
Will upload a sketch of the circuit diagram as well. May I draw it in CAD. We will see.
Be aware that I used a reed-contact for real alarm systems. So it's N/C not N/O.
UPDATE 2.Sep.2017: schematic is uploaded as picture.
P.S. Lid is still a bit lose. But for the first shoot okay.
UPDATE, 3.Nov.2017:
First Batteries are empty now. My Step-Up-Converter stopped working at 2.45V.
I didn't implemented the persistence on openhab right away.
But to give you a first idea, I uploaded a diagram of the battery discharge.
May be you want to extrapolate by yourself.
(A quick calc brought me to approximately 120 days for a two persons with a normal job)
