ePIc Kinect has a universal mounting system running down all 4 sides of it. It was designed so I could easy just slide different mounts on to the case in a bunch of different configurations. I hope you all enjoy it.
I have added a bunch of mounts that I have tested and all seem to work. If you have something you would like to use as a mount and cant design it yourself send me a message and I will look into adding it to the collection below. If you do Design it yourself please feel free to post it on thingiverse and link this model so we can find them easily. I will add links as well to other peoples mounts.
A few notes on the case options
One unit has an option to mount a 40mm fan inside the other does not. I thought it was nice to have a fan mount but realized it didn't look as clean with it for those that don't need a fan. It also has a cam port open and the pin cover can be snapped off if you need access to them.
I didn't use any supports when I printed.
I do NOT orientate all the parts correctly when I upload them so you will need to orientate them correctly in order to print with no supports.
You have to mount the pi first and then snap in the port cover. Put the edge in with the audio port first then snap the cover in place on the power side of the cover. There are tiny tabs on the port cover so it doesnt take much to hold it in place.
4 screws 3mm x 8mm should help square the pi up in the case through the bottom feet but they are not a requirement as the port cover and nose cover lock the pi in place.
The mounting brackets have one hole smaller than the other on purpose so you can thread them to whatever screws you like. 8-32 will be the easiest to thread to.
If you like it, please dont hesitate to tip a couple bucks:) I do appreciate it and as much as I like sharing these they do take time to create...
As with most of my designs I only allow personal use only.. If you want to make money on my designs let me know and we can work out something. I have been modifying the designs per cleint with a unique model so we can keep track of them.
