UPDATE:
It occurred that the mount itself is not strong enough to withstand fast retraction moves, which made it bend slightly. To avoid this, I added a smal rib to the fan mount which is connected to the extruder (see the white part in the newly added pictures). This prevents bending and I had no problems so far after extensive testing.
The new fan mount is called:
''New fan mount 40mm''
Direct drive, E3D V6 and Bullyseye fan duct? Say no more!
This simple but effective upgrade for your Ender 3 is mounted between the upper two x-carriage wheels and the hotend plate in place of the original wheel spacers.
Parts i've used:
E3D V6 clone hotend
Dual Drive Extruder (same designs from Aliexpress for instance should also be fine)https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07S7C4T7Y/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Extension cable for the stepper motor (build your own or buy one)https://de.aliexpress.com/item/4000102135918.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.5a7a13c7kXV6wa&algo_pvid=e32d726f-9653-4859-a125-b40864fbf2e4&algo_expid=e32d726f-9653-4859-a125-b40864fbf2e4-17&btsid=0d1e6d35-81de-41e0-97ba-540f09f1258b&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_,searchweb201603_53
If the motor turns in the wrong direction, simply switch the outer most cables with each other.

I've attached the Solidworks files so that the design can be altered if needed.
