Quick and easy calibration test for elephant's foot.
Designed for a 0.4mm nozzle with 3-layer walls (1.2mm walls), though it may work for other nozzles/settings.
The number markings are too small to print; they are there for reference to the 3D model only.
Gaps of 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6 mm (first side) and 0.8, 1.0, 1.2, 1.5 mm (second side) are present to help you assess how much overhang is on your first layer.
To calculate how much you should decrease your first layer width: identify the largest space which is grown together. (You may also choose the smallest space which still has a gap, if you want to be more aggressive.)
Take this number and divide by two (each wall has some overhang) and divide again by 1.2 (the wall width). This is your "shrink factor".
new width = (current width) x (1 - shrink factor)
For instance, if the 0.8mm space is grown together at 100% width:shrink factor = 0.8 / 2 / 1.2 = 0.333new width = 100% x (1-0.333) = 67%
