Ecopedal is an idea for an environmental friendly pedal boat, able to collect garbage and residues from river waters due to its back filter. It also has a leisure side, having a mechanical fan attached to the ceiling.
This project was developed by first year mechanical engineer students in Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon, Portugal, and was rated 20/20. It has also participated in a national competition held by Sqedio, Solidworks Portuguese representative, and has been awarded with two prizes: Animation, for presenting the best animation made with PhotoView 360 and public award, for being the most voted project by the general public. It was the third best project on the competition
