New concept- a green skyscraper. When built, it will dominate the skyline of Port of Spain at an impressive 589.9 meters (including lightning mast), it proposes to slash consumption of electricity and water, compared to similarly sized skyscrapers, by 40%. Many environmentally friendly innovations: the almost seamless crystaline glass cladding makes the entire structure both a large solar panel and an efficient deflector of heat from the sun - there are built-in solar cells, as well as etched-in polycarbonate heat deflectors: it harnesses solar energy, while deflecting heat so less power is used on the building's A/C and lighting. Three large gray-water repositories on the rooftops- collect rainwater and channel it into an industrial size underground treatment plant, where it is purified for use in the building. Planted rooftops- highest cultivated green space in the world- the rooftop vegetation collects and stores water; also cools down surrounding environment by 10 degrees, highest observation deck in the world. 100% Super-Tensile recycled steel and concrete support the champhered offsets that frame the facade- high-drama 'dancing' appearance- modern aesthetic style that is beautiful and functional: reinforces the tower on all sides. 95 floors, hosting offices, conference centres, large- scale shopping centres, two performing arts centres (the top floor offers a dazzling transparent glass concert hall, the highest in the world), and an underground train station. #dancing_skyscraper #green_skyscraper #highdrama_facade #low_carbon_footprint #manmade_natural_wonder #multiple_use_skyscraper #portofspain #rooftop_green_space
