This bracket allows you to cut solid wire to the exact lengths needed to traverse a given distance on a breadboard. Just line the wire up with how far you want to go, snip, strip 0.25" from each end (e.g. with this), and fold the ends down.
To build, print the bracket and attach with one M3 x 10mm screw and one M3 nut to the existing hole on a Morris model 54414 wire cutter. Print the label PDF out. To adhere, either print on label paper or use thin double-sided tape applied before cutting. Optionally, you can cover the label with clear packing tape before cutting to protect it. Cut on the guides and adhere to the bracket as shown. Use to cut 22AWG solid wire like this and bam, you're in breadboard wire town.
