Eastney Barracks Hotel Idea

Just a quick one today, my spin on an idea for turning the Royal Marines Barracks Museum into a Hotel. For speed I've used a model by Bill DerBloke as it is a good representation and lets me think about what to change. My mantra for this one is to try where possible to enhance the Victorian feel of the building. The wall around the Barracks is wonderful and has a preservation order on it, so I have decided to build inside of it to make best use of its history. The first big change is to roof in the parking space. This provides a covered area for posh cars and a means of keeping the day to day running side of things out of site. With the parking area roofed in there is now a large area of usable space to play with. To run with the Victorian feel I made two large glasshouses. They are light & airy with huge impact. I'm thinking the one nearest the sea as a meeting & food area, the other a Gym & pool. The rest is a little less out there, with roof top apartments and returning the chimney pots to give the building its originality back. Only other part of not is a copy of the roof crest to go at the back of the building. So there we have it, one posh hotel. Hope you like.
