Update 17 sept 2016
Added an alternative frame which should suit the lenses out of an ordinary pair of readers. Fix in place with 3m foam pad before clamping.
The RHO lens is a good upgrade for the Headplay HDMI goggles but my absolute favourite goggles are the Eachine Googles One. I decided to transfer the lens to my Eachine goggles but a frame was needed, also the lenses had separated because they are poorly glued together and do not have a frame.
If you are using the RHO lens, it should just snap in nicely to the frame, flat side of lens to flat side of the frame. The straight edges of the lens are at the top and bottom, if your lens, like mine, has come apart.
To install you need to remove the Fresnel lens. Just remove the 4 bolts at each corner, separate the 2 halves of the goggles and then remove the lens. Now loosely reassemble the goggles, placing the RHO lens assembly in a good position close to your eyes. Tighten the bolts and it will be clamped firmly in place.
If you have extreme long sight like me, you might like to leave the Fresnel lens in place and use both lenses. You could also try using a pair of prescription lenses from an old pair of glasses if you want to experiment and don't have perfect vision. Basically play around with lens combinations until you get a picture that suits.
A video of sorts is at https://youtu.be/WJjIVm_rDGg and includes an optional printed top to clamp the lens in place
