Behold ye Titans of 3D Printing! I submit to you a mount for the much acclaimed E3D Titan extruder. It is meant to attach to Toolson's X-carriage mount, though you could use it on any other carriage as long as it has the correct hole spacing (or you own a drill ;) )
Main goals of the design:
1) Simple
2) Lightweight
3) Easy access to remove the hotend assembly for cleaning/maintenance/swapping
4) Easy upgradablilty through attachment holes
5) Beautiful aesthetic (it's 2017 people....why do our 3D printers still look blocky and like a five year old designed them out of legos?)
6) Compact with the hotend itself as close to the X-axis rails as possible
The prox sensor mount is completely optional and features hex-nut holders underneath. It is designed for a 12mm-OD sensor. If you have a different sensor you'd like to add to the mount, the hole spacing simply 40mm between the two 3.2mm holes. Depending on your plastic choice and how flexible it is, you may want to add the prox mount simply to stiffen the assembly, even if you don't use it.
