Design Aims:
1. To accommodate maximum load bearing capacity with minimum materials.
2. To minimise moving parts.
3. To eliminate sliding mechanisms where possible. This is to reduce risk to function posed by vacuum welding and dust ingress (particularly lunar).
4. To maintain simplicity of operation.
5. To maximise ease of maintenance with replaceable and interchangeable components.
6. Tackle each articulation of the Stewart Platform independently, such that compound motion can be handled for arbitrarily long sections.
