DESIGNED FOR USE WITH THE STANDARD UNIVERSAL TOOL MOUNT THAT IS AN INCLUDED PART OF THE MPCNC DESIGN.
BEFORE YOU START...this setup requires that you remove the "tool free" spindle lock from your DW660 and replace it with the "DW660_nose_cover." I you don't want to or can't do this, then stop now.
These parts should be printed with 50% infill and 3 perimeters. The only part that should require supports is the "dust_shoe_with_brush." PLA at 100% scale will work great and I printed at a .25mm layer height.
The vacuum comes from a shop vac that I have plumbed in my shop. The hose going from this plumbing to my MPCNC has a 1 1/4" tapered end. You may have to make an adapter for your own plumbing needs. Or post a message and I may try to design one for you to print if you ask nice.
30-40psi seems to work just fine for me on the air jet. The lower you can go, the less your compressor has to run.
You will also need:
Several feet of 1/4" polyethelene tubing to run an air line down to the spindle.
1 1/4" push connect adapter with 1/4" MPT to screw into a standard air compressor hose fitting.
1 90° elbow 1/4" push connect adapter with 1/8" NPT to screw into the "lower_mount_with_air_jet"
1 air inflation needle
2 6-32 1/2" screws
2 6-32 nylock nuts
8" 3/4" PVC "thin wall" pipe (ASTM D-2241)

Some zip ties.
I got everything but the brush at Lowes. There is a good chance I'm going to eventually design and add another variation or two of the "dust_shoe_with_brush." There's this balance between distance from the deck, tool path depth, and brush length/rigidity. The present design is general purpose and should handle a maximum cut depth of 1.5cm.
EDIT 7/16/17 Added "dust_shoe_with_brush_long." 5mm longer than the standard.
UPDATE 9/21/17 Although the original dust shoe has held up great, I am not entirely pleased with the "dust_shoe_with_brush_long," piece, so I'm removing it. I purchased some longer brush material and plan to design a shoe for it. We will see how that goes.
EDIT 5/11/18 Slight edit to the "dust_shoe_with_brush" I made the shell of the dust shoe .4mm thicker. Had some trouble with the brush channel cracking the inner shell.
