This is simple push contact cell holder for making 18650 cell battery, as many cells as you need. Just got tired to open up welded battery every time to change single failed cell and then to have to weld new in place. Also without welding you can re-balance your battery, by re-positioning the cells. Meant to provide some distance for airflow and cooling for cells also.
Designed for 6 mm contact plate, inserted from outside. When assembling you should orientate the openings for the contacts. For parallel setup just connect longer strip over several cells. For series, just two together, cell wise forward or turn until you get your sequence done. It is meant for contact without welding, so box must set some pressure from ends to maintain contact.
Please consider materials according to possible battery temperature at full load (PLA can be not the best option).
There are two types of connecting pins, single and double. Latter is meant for holding nickel plate in place, where needed.
Design dimensions: internal diameter 18.5 mm, total height 10.6 mm, external 21.3 mm and 23 mm, contact base 5 x 5 mm, openings 6 x 1 mm. Print some test samples first and scale to match your printer, material and cells.
