WARNING - Work in process. This is in second revision after first print test.
Designed to fit Duet Wifi (https://www.duet3d.com) and earlier versions which all share the same hole mounting pattern. This case has been very carefully thought out by an engineer with extensive fixture design experience. Please provide suggestions and I will make further revision updates!
Features:
Wire duct style wire management
Dual 40mm fan cooling of board underside (per Duet recommendation)
Passive cooling vents on top of board
Ability to add cover - clear acrylic or printed.
All holes will self tap with M3 machine screws. No need to use nuts or taps!
Additional components required:
Top cover mount (for plexiglass) - M3x12MM screws & washers - Qty 4
Acrylic sheet - if choosing clear cover instead of printed (fab drawing included)
Circuit board mount - M3x12MM screws - Qty 2-4
Fan mount - M3 screws (length depends on your fan size) Qty 4-8
40MM Computer Fans - Qty 2
Changes 12/20/2016
Added cable tie mount point for wire tie down and to provide strain relief for connections on the board.
Added channel to fit the USB plug onto the board while board is mounted.
Changes 12/18/2016
Removed two wire guides at hotend terminals for wire clearance
Fixed floor thickness error - now 0.125" thick
Added cooling slots on top compartment – also saves material
Drastic board pocket dimensioning corrections. Accounts for normal board dimensional variation (pocket is already print tested)
Added model and drawing for cover
All screw hardware change to M3. Great for commonality and reduces board damage risk
Moved 2.25” wiring opening on fan side to better facilitate the pre-wifi board versions.
