Crew Size: Minimum of 10 active members Version: Beta 1 Description: With its unique design and natural synergy between exploration and security, the 'Bulldog' is the embodiment of ODY's values of uniqueness. This cruiser comes with a pre-installed Hauler, which is detachable from the middle hangar bay to securely leave and enter the vessel without fear of pirates or bandits. While docked, the Hauler can be effectively used as cargo bay, living quarters or supply station for personnel, while still providing enough fire power to defend the Bulldog in emergency situations and safely bring the whole ship's crew to planet surfaces without the bulldog having to land or stay anywhere close. You and your crew may freely explore the boundaries of the known universe while the cruiser orbits the planets. Through the absence of outer doors and use of automated turrets, you don't have to fear intruders any longer as the only entry into the ship is the well protected Hauler Bay. Every turret attachd to the Bulldog is capable of firing right onto anything that is trying to enter uninvited. ODY's unique building mechanics also prevent intruders from breaking your shell easily: Ribcage constructions and armor plates protect the most important parts of your home from blast damage and double the amount of effort needed to break through walls. But not everything is combat. Begin your planetary research already on your ship with the panorama deck allowing you to stare miles deep onto the planet surface. A simple corridor layout will allow even the newest crew members to easily find their way around to plunder the last supplies in the cargo bay. Lastly, the large amount of thrusters and fuel capacity will allow you to reach new destinations fast and reliably. The Bulldog is as loyal as a ship can be and will surely be reason for nostalgia for every crew member one day.
