Y adapter piece for dual extrusion prints on a bowden system
M6 threaded adapters are used.
M3 x 10mm screws are used to hold the unit together
The unit is in two pieces so as to aid in cleaning if needed. And it is stronger than one piece setups.
The threads will actually print at M6. I can make other designs if required.

My x location and y location is set manually to be in the centre of the prime tower. This way and oozing, or extra prime is in the centre of the tower. This then is levelled and nozzle cleaned by the little blob as it prints the prime tower
My overall retraction is set to 115mm. But yours can be much less. I find its best to bring the filament back into the Bowden tube so you can see where it is. You can also then see the plug on the end, and you can see where you need to set the second colour when initially loading.
In Marlin you need to enable 2 extruders, and enable single nozzle.
You need to have one hotend and one thermister defined also, not two.
I find the best bowden adapters are the ones that allow a 4mm ptfe tube to go all the way through them. You can then Chamfer the inside edges of the ptfe tube to minimise any blockages. And you can have the PTFE tube run all the way to the plastic chamfered section of the splitter.
Update:
I have made the splitter shorter.
