This is a stick movement boundary limiter for Dreamcast's twin stick (yet another no-damage add-on) HKT-7500. It provides distinguishable detents/bumps between nearby directions, while sticks are moving around.

Or, in other words, haptic feedbacks while changing directions.

That means, you will feel a small resist force that pushes you back while trying to change lever tilt direction, until it was overcame.

It was designed for improving my lousy inputs while controlling these twin sticks, and did behave just like or even better than my imagination.

The stick moving angle was limited to original diemsion (Ori. W=17.5mm, New W=17.53mm in model), so the tilt angle will be pretty the same as original (8.0deg in my design), and should do nothing harmful to limit switches in the stick base.

There are clear bump feelings while changing directions, like from right to up-right, or down to down-left, but the positioning force can be stronger, IMO.
However, due to the original part's dimensions, the best way to enhance positioning force will be lengthening both sleeves and stick stems by making customized parts. That would be relatively costly and complex, and is not in my plan in any time near.
