Product Description: Dragon fruit is one of my favourite fruit which looks beautiful with vibrant colours and wonderful texture. With this I planned to showcase the vibrant colours and textures which I have been able to design and create using Keyshot 10 and Catia V5 Software.

I have used 2 different types of materials (Plastic for the body and Glass for the Cap). I wanted to highlight the J55 Polyjet Printer capabilities of Multi-Colour and Multi-Material in a single print.

I was impressed that the labels could be so easily incorporated to the model in Keyshot and the same can be provided as an input for J55 3D Printer.

About me: I am Nagarjun Bhaskar working in Altem technologies Pvt as Senior Application Engineer. Altem technolgies is a reputed partner of Stratasys 3D printers and I was well aware of the Polyjet 3D Printing technology.

People in the Design Community are more or less aware of the 3D printing technology and of late every design engineer would have heard of 3D printing and it is become common to understand the concept of Design to 3Dprint. My Model is extremely difficult to manufacture using conventional technologies and as per the estimation my model can be 3D Printed in 1 day which is very good time considering the complex geometry of the part.

It was my first time working with Keyshot and I was amazed at the pace I could learn and understand the software. It was an excellent software with loads of features to work with.

We are having FDM printers at our facility in Bangalore, India. We are considering to get a Polyjet 3Dprinter soon, looking at the demand for the multi-colour, multi-material 3D Printer in the market.
