This is an "all in one" type power supply housing designed for the popular DPS series of compact variable power supplies sold on BangGood, Amazon and others. This design is intended for use with the single-board versions that are entirely integrated into the display module, not the high-wattage units that have separate display and power boards. This should fit just about any generic Industry Standard DC power supply and has cutouts for the DPS display/control unit, standard binding posts, and a 23mm round switch. I realize this is a fairly uncommon switch size, but I had a nice double-lighted unit I got from Radioshack ages ago and that was it's size, so that's what I built this for. Feel free to modify the switch cutout size as you see fit.
In case it isn't obvious from the pictures; this bolts to the 4mm mounting holes of a standard DC power supply and provides a cover for the terminal end, which also functions as the housing for the DPS unit, switch, binding posts and wiring. Final assembly will require super glue, or some other strong adhesive, but if you've got the mind to modify the design so it screws together, more power to you.
I used a 48V DC supply and a DPS5005 unit in my build, but it should work equally well with other standard DC supplies and single-board DPS units.
