This is an approximation of Doc Brown's Seiko stopwatch from Back to the Future. To fully recreate the look from the movie, you'll want to add in a red LED numeric display. The model is designed around this display from Adafruit.
The production team for the movie actually made the original prop by gutting a Seiko and replacing the LCD display with the LED digits so it would show up on camera. Unless you're going for maximal authenticity this is an alternative to sourcing and gutting a valuable vintage stopwatch!
There should be enough room for one of the smaller arduinos and for a battery holder, for which there is an access hole on the back plate.
