This 2.5D Triceratops is the youngest member of the three layered animal (tla) family, which is kind of strange as it became extinct about 66 million years ago. It is said the Triceratops is one of the most recognizable of all dinosaurs. The design sports a little deviation of the plain layered system as the neck frill is, besides the three horns the most memorable feature.
This build was done on a desktop cnc-machine by Stepcraft from 6 mm birch plywood using a spiral-toothed 1.2 mm flute. After machining it needed a little sanding and simple gluing together.
A laser cutter might be a good alternative tool to create (even) smaller versions.
Probably you could make a aluminum version and screw the parts together to get tiny key fob.
