Digital torque meter for rubber powered indoor model aircraft.
The screen in tilting. By modifying front panel and case some other digital scaled can be used. Tilting is really needed because LCD in digital scale is polarized to be best seen from very shallow angle.
The torque level arm is 5 cm. When scale is set to CARATs, output units of torque will be g-cm.

1/8" Du-Bro collar with set screw
0.8..1 mm music wire for shaft.
1.5-3 mm brass tubing for for adaptor
Two 3x8x4 flanged ball bearing
Two AA batteries
Four M3x10 socket head screws
Four 6x2 magnets
A piece 0.013" music wire and 0.6mmx20 pin for retaining link
From digital scale following parts are used - main board with LCD screen, buttons, load cell, and battery terminals. the original wires are very thin and fragile. Replace them with longer and more strong ones.
Feel free to modify it for the parts you have available. For the next iteration I would make case wider a bit - the gap between load cell and the wall is about 0.2mm.
