The toolkits with 2x 1.3Ah or 1.5Ah packs are cheap and abundant, however those packs have limited run time and power. I wanted to at least double the capacity. This converts the DCB201 or DCB207 from 5 cells to a 10 cell pack. Requires four M3 x30mm screws, I used silver ones I had on hand, but use black for a cleaner look. I removed the cells from two 1.3Ah, and two 1.5Ah packs and spot welded them together to make a 2.6Ah pack and a 3Ah pack, I purchased 20 raw Samsung INR18650-25R cells and spot welded them together to make a pair of 5Ah packs, this gives me FOUR fully usable packs, but much more capacity. This will likely work on the 2Ah 5 cell packs, but I don't have one of those to disassemble.
Not always in stock, but Battery Hookup is a great place for cells especially from their power tool section. Check them out:https://www.batteryhookup.com/?rfsn=4165868.2db01c
