Add as many Links as you want.
All hardware can be found at Home Depot or on Amazon and requires only simple wiring.
Supplies
1X-Button Turn Knob Socket (#100356978-Home Depot) (Leviton 4155-51-Amazon)
1X-E26 to E12 socket adapter
1X-E12 LED Bulb
1X-Power cord (any old power cord can be used)
1/4 threaded rod (length depends on how many links are used 2 1/4" per connection)
1/4 Nuts (2X per connection)
1/4 washers(4X per connection)
The Lamp Links, Lamp Base, and Shade Extender require no support when printing.
The Lamp Shade Itself will require support only from the build plate to support the link.
I designed this to be as easy to print as possible for a desk lamp with only simple wiring without soldering connections.
The Links require 4X washers because two go inside the Link on the high friction areas preventing plastic on plastic contact, and two washers on the exterior.
The Lamp socket simply passes up through the shade into a hole in the back of the Shade and has a nut included to hold it in place.
I downsized the socket size with the adapter simply to allow fitment of a smaller bulb using the smaller size thread.
The LED bulb I used was a Globe shaped bulb E-12 size made by GE (only LED bulbs should be used to reduce the chance of melting the plastic of the lamp.)
The power cord can be bought or reused from something else simply cut and strip the wires and attach them to the socket. I used an old printer power cable.
Not all parts are properly orientated in the stl files, use your own discretion.
I printed all the parts with 3 perimeters with a .4mm nozzle, and used 20% infill
The prints are a little long but in the end you have a fully functional desk lamp.
