What is this
An add-on to your caliper (fits most standard calipers with up to 17mm width).
Use case
Just a handy tool to have when you need to convert your caliper into a depth gauge. This is of course NOT a high precision solution, but it is quite flat and does its job within a 0.05mm error range. So, for the normal "I need to measure this case's depth but I always slip with my caliper"-situation it's just fine.
Additional info
The hole is 3.5mm diameter, so you can screw in a M4 bolt without the need to cut a thread. The version in the pictures above was printed with 40% infill @ 0.2mm QUALITY mode in Prusa Slic3r and has a M5 bolt. I changes that in the files to M4, see above.
