Plastic netting deer fence is very effective, but it's hard to make a gate. These clips attach to the T-bar with zip ties. The fencing is then stretched and snagged by one of the three hooks. Individually, the hooks are not particularly strong, but with eight or ten of them, they are of sufficient strength to hold the fencing tight and resist a deer trying to push through.
When somebody with thumbs wants to get through, it's easy to grab onto the netting, pulling it away from the hooks. It opens like a zipper allowing easy entry or exit from the protected space.
I've held off posting this design for a year, because I wanted to see how the PLA hooks would withstand the weather. They lasted for a full year, but they wouldn't last much longer. Since our deer fencing is really a temporary fence, we move it every couple years to protect different spaces, I don't mind replacing them on a yearly basis.
