Dearrpis Airways Flight 263, A Zephyrus Aerospace 201-600 was taking off from Sketchy International Airport when suddenly, as the landing gear was retracting, the tail section rippied off, sending seats flying down onto the grass. The plane struggled to stay level, it stalled and crashed 200 meters from where the tail section broke off. Out of the 233 people on board, only 23 survived this included the pilots but they were all badly injured. The runway was closed off and the NTSB arrived to the crash site. There were seats scattered between the tail and the rest of the plane. Everyone that was seating in the seats when they broke off died. It was the second ever Zephyrus plane that crashed. At the point where the tail section broke, the NTSB found lots of fatigue marks. The maintenence record of the plane told the investigators that the tail had been improperly fixed when the pilots landed with the nose to high and the tail section scratched the runway. It broke off at that moment because of the gravity pulling on it and the vibration from the landing gear being retracted. They were lucky, if the tail section have had fallen off at a higher altitute all passengers would've died. Dearrpis Airways ceased operations 2 years later in 1989. The Zephyrus 201 still has the best safety record today since it was introduced in 1981, there has only been 5 hull losses (2013) Airport by botos andrás, seats and other stuff by other people #aero #aeroplane #air #AirbusA330 #airplane #Airwys #car #Crash #Dearrpis #Dynamics #fictional #Flight #MetalFatigue #NTSB #plane #World
