The ability to design an outdoor kitchen with the same flexibility as its indoor counterpart presents the occasional challenge – such as ventilating smoke while cooking. For outdoor cooking areas with open air, a grill vent hood is not needed, but any indoor/outdoor cooking space should include a vent hood for airflow.
