This is a reinforced XZ-carriage assembly for the Cyclone PCB, based on the work of Manuel Palacios, available here: https://github.com/Mecan0/Cyclone-with-leadscrews
It uses this anti-backlash nut for the X axis: https://www.smw3d.com/acme-anti-backlash-nut/
It's essentially a drop in replacement for the existing XZ assembly.
The Z clamps are sized for a Dremel 3000. The dremel tool attachment threads into the bottom section, and then it gets clamped by the top section.
The upgrade in rigidity is remarkable. This makes it much easier to do a tool change between isolation routing and drilling without messing up the alignment.
New: Added a vacuum attachment.
New 7/15/17: Added 52mm Spindle variants of the Z upper and lower pieces. See here for a collet wrench that fits between the gap: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2436733
7/28/17: Beefed up the smooth rod set screws on the X Carriage. I recently had one of these fail due the the stresses on the small amount of material.
