This is a Customizer version of the self contained Solar Charge Box. Build your own renewable power storage for low power devices. Use Customizer to pick the parts in your charge box! Even customize each of the four power switches in this project! Connect this to your own solar panel, and a solar charge controller for off grid charging. This project was designed to help all of humanity. Please make one for yourself, and then make another one to give away to someone that would benefit from it.

This charge box project requires:
2 circuit breakers (old APC ups)
4 rocker switches
a 12v / 12Ah battery
USB port (round)
12v DC accessory socket (round)
a small plastic toolbox
14-16 gauge wire
wire terminal ends
electrical tape or heat shrink tube
soldering iron & solder (optional)

This customizer project contains several pre-built common switches to select from. These switches can be sourced from Amazon, Walmart automotive, and also old PC power supplies switches.

Two customizable switch profiles are included to allow you to custom design the Rectangle & Round switches for your project to match any parts you have on hand! Each of the four switches are individually selectable and customizable. Explore the options!

Also, each rectangular or round customizable switch is easily repositionable & rotated on the face of the box. Just use the sliders!
A wiring diagram is provided to assist with the wiring of this box. Please do not take any short cuts. This box stores enough power to cause electrical shock or fire hazard. Please be careful, be safe.

By following the wiring diagram in this project, it is possible to charge this box from your vehicle' 12V accessory socket using a power cable with two 12v accessory plugs.
