This illuminated Moravian Star is a lamp for christmas decoration.
it is printable in 2 Versions:
Version A:
hanging star with 1 body base (optional upper and lower half), 1 cover cap, 17 square points, 8 triangular points
lluminated by bulb 6V / 0.3A or optional LED equipment
Version B:
standing star with 1 body base (optional upper and lower half),1 candle adapter, 1 cover cap, 17 square points, 8 triangular points
illuminated by electric candle or candle chain
For easy mounting a mounter is attached.
I made one of version B with a IR controlled candle. The IR signal penetrated through the (yellow) plastic to the IR sensor of the candle.
The geometry of the star depends on 2 parameters:
diameter_star
diameter_illumination.
To meet the original shape the ratio of diameter_star / diameter_illumination is 130/12.6
Increasing the diameter_illumination and keeping the diameter_star will result in a bigger body base and shorter points, which normally is no problem.
