This easy to assemble frame (please suggest other words) consists of 4 pieces.
When using finger joint, the design is laser-cut friendly (take material width into consideration).
This is a work-in-progress with many potential uses and quite honestly just a by-product of something else I am working on.

Added dovetail joint alternative
To do:
make size and amount of notches customizable
add additional notches for inserting dividers etc
design semi-controllable divider layouts
even more joint types?
