A simple heart fridge magnet with customizable text.
Parts
1x Back Plate
1x Face Plate
2x 6mmx1.5mm Neodymium Magnets (rated N52 or stronger)
Plastic cement or super glue
Assorted sandpaper
Assembly
Before starting, I strongly recommend wearing protective glasses when working with magnets in case they snap together and shatter.
Customize and export a back and face plate.
Print the plates.
Tip: Enable ironing on all top surfaces in your slicer for a smoother surface finish.
Test fit the back and face plates, sanding if needed.
Place a magnet in each of the indentations in the back plate.
If you're having trouble getting the magnets to stay in their indentations, try placing a something magnet behind the back plate so the magnets pull towards it rather than towards each other.
Apply glue to the inside of the back plate and the back of the face plate and press together firmly.
Allow glue to dry and paint or use as is.
