The personal vehicle of 2040 will have the following advantages over current choices:
- Single or Tandem configuration to double parking and lane usage will contribute to solving future traffic and parking problems caused by our highly mobilized societies.
- Advanced cambering suspension allows tighter turns at higher speeds lowering traffic congestion.
- Sturdy, simple construction allows micro-factory manufacturing.
- Propelled by hydraulic pumps, motors and accumulators to recover lost energy during braking. This system reduces the manufacturing complexity while still being open to all future power plants (bio-diesel, electric, small displacement internal combustion).
- Frame, Wheels, and Accumulators are constructed from organic fibers in a polymer resin to allow 3D print manufacturing and low carbon resources.
- Body is fabricated of textiles stretched taut over frame. This technique is used on the DV8 concept car.
- Hydraulic fluid made from vegetable oils to reduce waste and prevents hazardous material spills during accidents.
- Low weight and small contact patches to reduce energy needs. target weight of 800lbs.
- Exterior airbags are deployed automatically to reduce primary impact G loading.

This model is a simplified scale model toy of the concept for 3D printing. There are 3 main assemblies (frame, interior, body) that nest together in final model. The entire model has tolerances to allow printing the entire assembly at once. The Frame model contains multiple moving components trapped for excellent print in place mechanisms while also demonstrating the cambering suspension. Three assemblies allow mutliple printed color variations.
