This is a concept that is a work in progress based on my previous Cryo Aeolipile Turbine Generator design, but taking it a step further to make a nitrogen-electric hybrid power plant. How it is theoretically supposed to work, you put the liquid nitrogen in to the Aeolipile just like the previous design, as the boiling action begins to occur this will spin the aeolipile and generate pressure in the chamber while generating electricity, the gas will be directed to the tesla turbine and spin it via pressurization in the chamber. The fan blades attached to the aeolipile serve two purposes, one to force more air in to the tesla turbine (hopefully), and reason two is the blades will create drag for the aeolipile to bring it down to a safer and more stable RPM. The electric motor can potentially do a few things, it can compensate for the low torque on the low end of the tesla turbines rpm, and help you recover if you were stalling in an aircraft or any instance of a vehicle when you need quick power. It could also generate electricity from the tesla turbine driving the motor to generate, and serve as a back up if or when the tesla turbine stops due to a malfunction in the pressure chamber or when you exhaust all of your nitrogen gas. It could also be used to work with the tesla turbine drawing its power from the aeolipile, or the aeolipile to a battery/capacitor bank to the electric motor for climbing during flight, it could also be switched as a generator when at cruising altitude since at higher altitudes the nitrogen should transition faster in to gas and cause more rapid expansion which will result in a faster gas flow rate at higher altitudes which will put more power in to pure mechanical thrust from the tesla turbine, at a loss of efficiency i am guessing though, but the electric motor/generator can recover some of the energy for later electro-mechanical use. (This is not perpetual motion, you will run out of nitrogen and battery eventually). This is a concept though so if anyone has the means to build and test please do so, and come back with results ! Some of the things that still need to be done are, design mounting points for the rotor and stator holders, make a hatch for the pressure chamber so the aeolipile can be accessed. Motor and tesla turbine mounts designed, pressure relief valve, or some vent holes.
