I've had my CR-10 S5 for a little over a month and haven't had good success in printing smaller objects because the print bed resembles a topographical map of the Rocky Mountains. I haven't gotten around to trying manual mesh bed leveling or the installation of BLTouch yet. I needed to establish if this was a printer that I wanted to keep because my original intent was to print large objects.
I designed this ring in Autodesk 123 Design. I wanted to see if I could get a large print to stick and complete without issues. Rather than print something big that might take days, I wanted to print something big that would take less than 24 hours.
The dimensions are 350 mm x 40 mm x 4 mm. I sliced with Slic3r and it took around 16 hours to print. This should print well on a S4 or S5.
