I made this thing because there was nothing readily available for a direct mount to the CR-10. All you need is stock screws for direct mount to x axis, standard front facing fan screws, the screws provided with the flexion hotend heat sync and some turbo fans which can be found cheap on ebay or other online sources. I prefer to make designs with minimal outsourced parts, buy your flexion hotend and turbo fans then your good to mount up to Cr-10, I have managed to successfully print many fine objects with this design, please ensure bed is level to a 0.4 feeler gauge and that Flexion hot end, heat sync and nozzle are perfectly aligned to reduce the chance of clogging. This is only issue i have stumbled across where the bowden tube is getting pulled back upon retraction then causing a clog. To reduce this effect I have attached a bowden connector at the top of the print and also printed some bowden connector clips/locks to ensure there is no room for the bowden tube to lift upon retraction. Some may not have this issue due to alternative slicer settings. Another model is yet to come where the extruder will be mounted on the x axis directly into the hotend. Happy printing!
