The model is based on collection of ideas during and prior CRE8ARC ECO SHIP building project in London Hackney Wick and focuses on the functionality . Commissioned by the project manager, artist Martin Krupik www.luminite.me . It has been created as a visual reference for the intended build. The Earth sheltered Pavillion on the left , envisioned as hexagonal raised beds to form quasi hanging gardens with the use of space created beneath and a band stand or seating area with fireplace on top. In the middle is a football pitch with suspended walkway and viewing terraces leading to a sports shed at the very back. The main structure on the right , made with container shell and the double walls with an air gap, mainly timber frame with sheep wool insulation and hempcrete adobe type wall. Vertical container on the corner will become a lift shaft with access to the 2nd floor ofice and 1st floor mezzanine where people can socialize. 38 degrees triple glazed south facing shield with embedded solar panels and solar collectors on the roof. The heat captured is stored in the ground as well as water collected from the roof. Up to five workshop spaces are contained within the domes and 2nd floor. Two vertical wind turbines provide some electricity which is stored in a battery bank. Air pumps maintain adequate irrigation to the vertical gardens as well as the house.
