This is a reinterpretation of the classic American four-square -- a style of detached house that was popular throughout much of the United States and Canada through the 1910s and 1920s. The style experienced a revival in the late 1990s, and four-squares are now a standard part of most traditional neighborhood development (TND) and new urbanism projects in the US. In suburban subdivisions in the northern half of the United States, four-squares with large attached garages are increasingly popular This is an example of 'four-sided design' - architectural details and fenestration are consistent on all sides. This example has 3 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, a master suite, 9'/2.75 m ceilings on the ground floor, small front and rear porches, and a basement with window wells. The basement can accommodate a small in-law suite, accessory apartment (ADU), home theater room, or neckbeard nest for that gentlesir who just won't leave. The secondary entry door is on the side -- a more common configuration in the Buffalo/Western New York area than other parts of the US. I made this model for form-based zoning code illustration. All elevations are detailed, and there's interior floors, walls, ceilings, stairwells, and stairs.
