I wanted my screen on the left side of my printer, so I threw together a quick design. A Fusion360 file is included in the files if you want to edit the files. I also made a basic end cap cover to cover the end of the extrusion profile on the right side.
All holes are sized for 5mm screws. The screen mount screw holes are sized to be able to run a 5mm tap and pre-thread the holes. You can probably make it work without a tap, but the screws for the screen mount may be difficult to start. All other holes are sized to be able to easily slip fit the screws
I used 2mm walls, ceilings and floors with 20% infill for the screen mount to give it some stiffness and also to make sure that there was enough material to stand up to the thread tapping.
You can re-use the screen mount screws. You'll need 4 additional m5 screws, plus two m5 t nuts to attach the left side screen mount to the extrusion. I used m5x16mm cap screws for the screen mount and m5x8mm cap screws for the extrusion end-cap cover.
Obviously, you'll have to re-route the screen cable to the left side.
