An extruder knob with a difference this one will not slip on the shaft so easily.
The problem with plastic knobs is they have little strength where it counts and are generally designed to large. The result is they turn on the shaft
The knob doesn't need to be very large as the shaft turns easily anywhay, it also has an indicator point so you can easily see the knob turning good for when the extruder retracts.
You will see there are 2 thin slots under the knob this is where you hammer in 2 square pieces of metal plate 10mm by 10mm by about .5mm you can cut this out of a dog food can lid or something like that. Make sure the pieces are flat. Sit the knob upside down on a hard surface and just hammer the metal plates in
The steel plates add strength to the hole one for the flat to grip onto the flat on the shaft and one to strengthen the opposite side to the flat.
All plastic knobs need added strength like this note the flat on the shaft will line up with the pointer on the top of the knob helps when you push it on to know where the flat is
Hope this is useful
