The gauge wheel provides a visual clearance between the cutting wheels and the ground and it needs to be hand adjusted on both sides of the implement so that the furrows that they cut will allow for the appropriate amount of irrigation water to flow between the rows. Some parts of the assembly are off the shelf including the Screw Jack while others need to be designed, cut then welded in your shop. It is from this scenario that we will create our assembly model.
