The Conqueror Class Planetary Assault Ship, shown here launching 5 tungsten kinetic harpoons, is the confederation's main planetary assault ship. It is usually deployed in groups of 5, with destroyer and frigate escorts. It's hangar holds up to 18 Scorpion Medium Planetary Attack Gunships, and 15 Talon Light Attack/Space Interceptors. The huge grid of hatches on it's right side hold 4096 2 metre long tungsten kinetic harpoons, each of which can destroy a medium sized hardened bunker on a planetary surface. The three electron ram sniper turrets on top and below it can independently track the most dangerous recognised threat while the other weapons systems are already engaged, and for close range defence, four small 6 barreled laser turrets provide protection. The heavy railgun mounted on top can destroy an incoming threat from space without worrying about energy shields, and finally, the twin particle cannon on the underside can be used for planetary bombardment but also for anti-ship defences.
