Concepts NREC is a world leader in turbo machinery design, research, engineering, software and manufacturing. The CN Corporate Headquarters were relocated from Woburn MA to Wilder VT. The building is located off Route 5 at 217 Billings Farm Road, Wilder, VT. The move offered new business to Vermont with job growth for CN, hiring several programmer/machinists, an advanced manufacturing engineer, and planner/expediter, and a technician. The move took two weeks and the business was ready to start by week three. “The land before Concepts was built was a dairy and cheese farm covered in whey ponds. This added a lot of cost to the already expensive building. The building was constructed in the winter of 1993 and was opened in 1994. The land was opened up for buildings in the early 90’s. Concepts was the second building built on the land and split the land they had with advanced transit. The building was constructed by Banwell White Arnold, the primary architects were David Laurin and Hembergur.
