Yet Another Spool Roll Stand for 1Kg spools.
I wanted one that was compact, and didn't use a lot of hardware.
The minimum hardware for this one is a single 8mm x 100mm smooth shaft.
A pair of 608 bearings are optional, and make it roll even easier.
All parts are small enough to be printed on the 125mm bed of a SnapMaker.
You will need to print:
Qty 2 - RollStandSide
Qty 1 - BollStandBase
Qty 2 - SpoolHolder (which ever kind)
Qty 2 - Spacer (if needed)
On a SnapMaker, you can probably print the Base, Holders, and Spacers all at once.
Since my Spools are 65mm wide, that is what the Spacers are setup for. (8mm thick each) A Spool could be up to 80mm wide - and use no spacers. Narrower spools would need wider spacers.
I've included stl's for 4 variations.
Spool hub dia 32mm with and without Bearing, same for hub dia 53mm.
(actual hub hole on the spool is a tad larger, makes for an easy fit.)
If you use the bearings, the sizes I've printed with a fairly fine resolution are a really tight fit. I had to tap the bearings into the hub holes with a small hammer.
The SpoolHolders are modified versions of the "Customizable Compact Spool Holder with Bearing Support", thing https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:774334
